Upcountry Maui is a great way to experience the more local side of the island. The upcountry area is mostly filled with local communities and towns that have remained the same over the past century. On our Upcountry Tour, we will take you back in time to the feeling of being in old Hawai'i again to experience some of the best local ambiance Maui has to offer.

Makawao town is a small cowboy town filled with history, great food, and shopping.

The Upcountry area is filled with beautiful ranch land. Kula is a great place to relax and take a breath of fresh air. it is also great to stop by the local farm stands for some of the freshest food on the island.

The old town of Hali'i'maile is famous for being one of the main locations in the pineapple industry. Although the factories are not operating anymore, it is great to see the remaining buildings and machinery. The town is now most known for the five star general store restaurant, and the local liquor crafts in the area.

Ulupalakua is a beautiful ranch and winery located far up on the hills of Haleakala with some of the most beautiful sights of Wailea and Makena from up above.
